THE SCOUTS CHARITY GOLF 2008

23 SEPTEMBER 2008 (TUESDAY), TAMPINES COURSE, TMCC


General Information

1.           The golf competition will be held at the Tanah Merah Country Club, Tampines Course on Tuesday 23 Sep 2008 teeing off at 1:15 p.m. with a shotgun start.  Golfers should be ready at their buggies by1.00 p.m.

2.           Registration of golfers will commence at 11:30 a.m.  All golfers are requested to register by 12:30 p.m. so that they will have enough time to change and have lunch.

3.           Light lunch will be served to all golfers at the 19th Hole commencing at 11:45 a.m.

4.           The Cocktails and Dinner will be at the Main Clubhouse, Garden Course, with the Cocktails commencing at 6:45 p.m.  The dress for the evening is smart casual.  The Patron and Guest of Honour, President S R Nathan is expected to arrive at 7.00 p.m.

Singapore Scout Guild and its members actively supports the Singapore Scout Association in its bid to campaign for votes among the Scouting Countries to nominate Singapore as the Host Site for the 2015 World Scout Jamboree. 

Voting will be done at the 38th World Scout Conference in Korea, Jeju Island in July 2008.
